So Long, Texas Records
I would like to express my regret at the passing of Texas Records (their closing party was Jan. 31):
At Texas, records were not product, but works by musicians who are living, breathing people. The store made performer and audience accessible to one another. Its interior was bright and airy, its employees cheerful and helpful.
It will be sorely missed.
