Local News in Brief : Sun Valley Man Held in Stabbing Death

A 40-year-old man was in police custody Saturday in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man during an argument Friday night in Sun Valley, Los Angeles police said.
Jorge Nunez of Sun Valley was arrested shortly after the argument, which apparently erupted about 9:30 p.m. at a dwelling, Officer Tom Zeihan said.
Paramedics took the unidentified victim to Pacifica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Zeihan said.
Nunez was booked on suspicion of murder at the North Hollywood Division Jail, the officer said.
