VIENNA — U.S. film director Benny Dobbins died Friday after suffering a heart attack while shooting a film with Austrian-born star Arnold Schwarzenegger, police said.
Dobbins, 56, collapsed during filming of “Red Heat” near the central Austrian ski resort of Schladming, authorities said. He was flown to a hospital by helicopter but a doctor later pronounced him dead.
Dobbins, a Californian, was co-director of the film with actor and body builder Schwarzenegger and was coordinating stunt scenes when he collapsed.
