1,874 AIDS Cases Reported to Health Group

GENEVA — The number of AIDS cases reported to the World Health Organization rose by 1,874 last month, reaching a worldwide total of 75,392.
The United States accounted for the bulk of the increase with a tally of 51,361 cases of acquired immune deficiency syndrome, compared to 49,743 in December, the group reported.
