Tutor-Saliba, a Sylmar-based general contractor, has broken ground on the $53-million Dorchester Apartments, 10520 Wilshire Blvd.
The 16-story, 108-unit apartment complex is being developed by Dorchester Partners, a joint venture of Urban Pacific Development Corp. of Los Angeles and V. M. S. Realty Partners of Chicago.
Designed by Vitro Architects of Los Angeles, the 247,000-square-foot Dorchester Apartments will provide two- and three-bedroom units ranging in size from 1,500 to 2,100 square feet. Also included are four two-story penthouses with skylighted entries and grand stairways.
