The Very Rev. Lloyd R. Gillmett, Former Dean of Cathedral

The Very Rev. Lloyd R. Gillmett, 85, dean of St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral in downtown Los Angeles from 1959 to 1972 and a member of the old television panel “The American Religious Town Hall.” Before coming to Los Angeles to take over the now razed church at Wilshire Boulevard and Figueroa Street, Gillmett served churches in St. Paul and Duluth, Minn. In St. Paul on Wednesday.
