Several Fox Television stations are being hit by a round of cost-cutting layoffs.
About 30 employees at Fox-owned KTTV in Los Angeles and WTTG in Washington have received or will soon get pink slips in the cutback, according to a report in the trade paper Daily Variety. Fox spokesman Michael Binkow said the trims resulted from a periodic review of operations at the seven Fox stations.
Additional cuts are expected at Fox’s Boston station, according to Binkow. The spokesman didn’t say how many jobs would be eliminated.
