Detectives say they believe a Burbank man shot his wife of 70 years to death, then fatally shot himself because he was despondent over her poor health.
A relative found the bodies of James Doig, 89, and his wife, Musa, 87, on Friday morning in the couple’s house in the 1400 block of North Pass Avenue, Burbank Police Sgt. William Berry said.
Police did not disclose Musa Doig’s illness, which Berry described as “current medical problems.”
The investigation is continuing, he said. No further details were disclosed.
