Holdsworth, UCLA Win Gymnastics Titles

Curtis Holdsworth won the all-around individual title and led UCLA to the team title at the UCLA/Times Gymnastics Invitational before 4,453 at Pauley Pavilion Saturday night.
The Bruins, ranked third nationally, compiled 284 points in beating top-ranked Illinois, which finished at 282.15. Five-time national champion Nebraska was third with 281.1. The Bruins’ score was the third-highest scored in the nation this season.
Holdswoth, a junior who earned All-American honors last season, scored a career-high 57.55 and finished tied for first place in two events.
