James J. Orris has been named president and chief executive of InterDyne Co., replacing William M. Ballon, who had been serving on an interim basis. Ballon remains as a director. Orris is currently a marketing consultant for the computer and computer peripheral industry; previously, he was vice president and general manager of Persyst, a subsidiary of Emulex Corp.
The company also said that Jerome Resnikoff, vice president-engineering and Yoon Paek, vice president-international operations, have resigned.
