‘OUT OF ORDER’
Goodson, 8:45 p . m.
This video feature for television--like some French wines--does not travel well. A technically splashy yarn of disenfranchised Midlands youth that attempts to mix humor, social commentary and science fiction into a blisteringly funny and searing political statement. The story of a lad who decides to become a police recruit and runs afoul of his friends and superiors falls dramatically short of its intentions.
