Three men have been indicted by a federal grand jury on charges that they embezzled more than $600,000 in gold bars and coins from Valley State Bank, a five-branch institution based in Encino that failed last September. Donald Kenneth Gray II, 28, also known as Daniel Ryan Hamilton, was arrested in Tijuana, Mexico, federal officials said. Two other defendants, Andres Marin Salazar and Ignacio Marin Salazar, are believed to be in Colombia. According to the indictment, Gray, a data processing clerk, placed unauthorized orders into a bank computer to have gold bars and coins sent to a phony New York business set up by the Salazars.
