Will Dodgers Stumble Over Third Base Again?
Cicero once said: “To stumble twice against the same stone is a disgrace.” Considering the cast of characters the Dodgers employed at third base last season and their mediocre performances: Dave Anderson (.978 field percentage), Phil Garner (.947), Jeff Hamilton (.935), Mickey Hatcher (.929) and Tracy Woodson (.958) for a combined sub-par figure of .949, 30 points below the league leader, Buddy Bell of Cincinnati (.979), how could they even consider Mike Marshall or Pedro Guerrero the panacea at the hot corner?
Please let us not stumble twice against the same stone and disgrace the club another year.
