Ireland’s Sligo District Court ordered the extradition of a prominent Irish Republican Army activist wanted on a weapons charge in Northern Ireland. Owen Carron, 34, a former member of the British Parliament and a leading member of Sinn Fein, the IRA’s legal political wing, had been sought since he jumped bail in British-ruled Northern Ireland two years ago.
