Fairfax and Westchester Meet

Fairfax High School, the defending champions featuring Chris Mills, the best player in the City, and Westchester, led by Zan Mason, one of the top juniors, meet in the 4-A semifinals tonight at 7:30 at Fairfax.
Fairfax, No. 4 in The Times’ regular-season rankings, is the Valley League champion with an 18-4 record. No. 6 Westchester, which finished second in the Central League is 19-5.
The 3-A and girls’ 4-A and 3-A also play tonight, with the semifinals for all four divisions Friday.
The Southern Section girls’ move into the second round with games in its five divisions.
In Southern Section soccer, the girls’ 4-A will play its quarterfinal games today, while the boys’ 3-A, 2-A and 1-A are into the second round.
