It’s Must-Win Time for Toros

Cal State Dominguez Hills completes its California Collegiate Athletic Assn. basketball schedule this week with a pair of must-win road games beginning tonight at 7:30 at Cal State Los Angeles.
The Toros (11-13 overall), who are 2-9 away from home, must beat the Golden Eagles and win again Saturday at Cal State Northridge, then hope Chapman College drops its final two games this week. If that occurs, Dominguez Hills, currently in sixth place, would earn the fourth and final spot in the CCAA’s postseason tournament.
Cal State Bakersfield, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and UC Riverside have locked up tourney berths.
Chapman (15-10) is at Northridge (14-10) tonight and at Los Angeles (2-21) Saturday. Any combination of a Toro loss and Chapman win would eliminate Dominguez Hills.
