Dart Group Corp. said it passed another hurdle in its attempt to oust the board of Stop & Shop Cos. in its $1.03-billion hostile takeover bid for the supermarket chain. Dart said its 95%-owned affiliate, Jefferson Partnership, submitted to Braintree, Mass.-based Stop & Shop applications from holders of more than 10% of Stop & Shop’s outstanding shares calling for a special shareholders meeting on March 30. Stop & Shop spokeswoman Aileen Gorman declined to comment on the latest announcement by Dart of Landover, Md.
