Jimmy Swaggart’s Tearful Confession

The Times reported on presidential candidate Pat Robertson relative to the recently disclosed Swaggart sex scandal (Part I, Feb. 23). The candidate said the sex scandal discovery was “planned,” that “nothing happens to people by accident” and that “somebody else planned all these things, I am afraid.”
Preacher Robertson knows that nothing happens by chance, all is according to a higher order. Could it be that God planned all this and the timing of these revelations in accord with his higher purposes?
