The USC basketball team will try to avoid dropping into a last-place tie in the Pacific 10 Conference with Washington today when the Trojans play the Huskies at Seattle (3 p.m., Channel 2).
USC (6-18 overall and 4-11 in conference) beat Washington (7-18, 3-12) this month at the Sports Arena, 67-65, on a basket by freshman forward Ronnie Coleman.
The Trojans’ only road victory of the season came in December when they defeated California, 58-56, in double overtime.
