A Plea to Keep Drive-In Theater

As a resident of Ladera Heights, I feel that the drive-in theater gives expression to our neighborhood. I am 15 years old and have never been to a drive-in theater and am looking forward to going to the Centinela Drive-in, as I have been for as long as I can remember.
Drive-in theaters are a piece of our history, and this part of our history is slowly diminishing. Drive-in theaters show us, as teen-agers, what our parents did when they were our age.
In closing, drive-in theaters are a different way to watch movies as well as a piece of American history. The Centinela Drive-In Theater is part of our neighborhood, and I would much prefer a quiet movie theater over a noisy RTD bus yard where buses leave early in the morning and arrive late at night.
