Titans’ Halewijn Fourth in Wrestling

Paul Halewijn, a junior from Cal State Fullerton, finished fourth in the 167-pound weight class of the Pacific 10 wrestling championships at Fullerton Monday night.
Halewijn lost to Vince Walker of Fresno State, 5-3. Walker and the top three finishers in each weight category will advance to the NCAA championships at Iowa State, March 17-19.
Fullerton, which finished fifth last season, finished 9th out of 11 teams, with 17.5 points. Arizona State won the championship for the second straight year, with six first-place finishers.
