A Year to Remember

The movie “1969” is not the first in the wave of ‘60s films (“ ‘1969’: A Look at Coming of Age in Turbulent Times,” by Leonard Klady, Feb. 28).
The year 1968 came before 1969, and the feature “ ‘68” opened in the San Francisco Bay Area last weekend, on its way to a national release.
