Meeting to Discuss Saving Open Space

Concern about land development on the Palos Verdes Peninsula has prompted a public meeting to discuss acquisition of open space.
The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Peninsula Center Library, 650 Deep Valley Drive, Rolling Hills Estates.
William Ailor, a Rolling Hills Estates planning commissioner and founder of a the Four Cities Planning Group, which looks at common problems in the four Peninsula cities, said he was acting as a private individual when he scheduled the meeting to explore formation of a nonprofit organization to acquire and preserve land.
