Finland’s Matti Nykanen, who won three gold medals at Calgary, won the 70-meter hill competition at the annual Lahti Ski Games in Lahti, Finland. Nykanen soared 285 feet 5 inches in his first jump and 282-2 in the second, which gave him 214.8 points and solidified his commanding lead in the World Cup to 245 total points.
