A federal judge in Tampa, Fla., scheduled a Sept. 7 retrial date for former Detroit pitching ace Denny McLain, who was released from a federal prison last summer after his conviction on racketeering charges was overturned.
McLain did not appear in court, saying he was snowed in at Fort Wayne, Ind.
