The writer of “The Westside Real Estate Wars” should be commended for giving a reasonably accurate portrayal of what it’s like in Westside real estate. However, I would take serious issue with the impression given that the entire Westside real estate market is controlled by three of the four firms that were featured in the article. Millions upon millions of dollars’ worth of residential real estate is sold each year in the affluent Westside communities by numerous successful independent brokerage firms.
