Zonta Club Day to Mark 60th Anniversary

The City of Los Angeles has declared Tuesday to be Zonta Club Day in Los Angeles in recognition of the service to the community provided by the club since it was chartered here on Feb. 28, 1928.
Zonta International is a world-wide service organization of business and professional women that was founded in 1919 in New York. It has a membership of more than 36,000 women in 48 countries.
The Los Angeles club will celebrate its 60th anniversary on Tuesday with a dinner that is open to the public at the Sheraton Townhouse, 2961 Wilshire Blvd. For information or reservations, contact Mary Mclaughlin at (213) 533-4041.
