Local News in Brief : Laguna Beach : Closures for Street Work Scheduled This Week

City officials have announced that a number of streets will be closed for repaving during daytime hours Tuesday and Wednesday.
Terry Brandt, director of municipal services, said city crews will resurface several streets between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. on both days.
On Tuesday, the closures will affect Ocean Avenue, 3rd Street between Forest Avenue and Mermaid Street, and Glenneyre Street between Laguna and Legion streets.
On Wednesday, all of Forest Avenue will be closed, as well as Glenneyre between Laguna and Forest, and a small street behind the library.
