Edison’s Carter Wins Shotput Competition

Kaleaph Carter of Edison High School won the shotput competition at a national high school indoor track and field championship meet at New Haven, Conn., Sunday.
Carter, a senior who has been second in the state meet the past two seasons, threw the shot 60-feet 2-inches to win by an inch.
