The Laguna Beach Festival of Arts has awarded $53,000 in grants to four local organizations; $25,000 has gone to Laguna Playhouse to help convert an office building into a “second stage” facility. The Laguna Art Museum has received $10,000 for educational programs); the Laguna Beach Chamber Music Society $10,000 to purchase a piano, and Ballet Pacifica, $8,000 for general operations.
