Wickes Cos. said it is negotiating to sell its Kayser-Roth Hosiery Group--which makes men’s and women’s hosiery under such brands as No Nonsense, Liz Claiborne and Burlington--to the division’s management and a New York investment firm. The hosiery group was one of three division, including Kayser-Roth Apparel Group and Wickes Lumber, that Wickes put on the auction block last October.
