Beverly Hills : Community Group Funded

The City Council this week turned over management of $291,000 to the Beverly Hills Community Access Corp., a nonprofit community group created to oversee public access productions on cable television.
The council also provided the group with $50,000 for start-up operating costs, including the hiring of an acting executive director.
The $291,000 can be used only for facilities and equipment.
