Michael Rafferty has been named vice president of operations for Irvine-based Kathryn G. Thompson Development Co. In his new position he will be responsible for overseeing construction operations of the building company’s three current residential developments, as well as the purchasing of materials and labor. Rafferty formerly was director of residential construction for Mission Viejo Co.
