Ronald S. Freeman has been appointed vice president, sales and marketing, for McDonnell Douglas Computer Systems Co., Irvine. He succeeds James Lawson, who left the company to pursue personal business endeavors. Freeman has been with McDonnell Douglas since 1972 in various sales, marketing and strategic planning management positions. He was director of strategic planning for McDonnell Douglas Computer Systems before his new assignment.
