Closing of PLO Offices

Regarding your editorial “Egg on Our Face” (March 6): It is refreshing to see such a truthful account of how and why the United Nations mission of the PLO and its information office in Washington may be forced to close. I found the editorial to be very enlightening and educational.
Many don’t know just how much influence the American Israel Public Affairs Committee has on American politicians. It is regrettable that a country like the United States can be swayed by lobbyist groups such as the AIPAC. PLO offices, like many others, have the right to remain open and closing them would be unfair and unjust. Shame on Congress for permitting the obstruction of freedom right here in the United States. It is time that Congress wakes up and rectifies this blunder.
