Prep Roundup : Servite Swings to Easy Victory in Tennis, 17-1

Jeff Belloli swept his three matches Tuesday to lead Servite High School to a 17-1 victory over Bishop Montgomery in an Angelus League boys’ tennis match at the Anaheim Tennis Center.
Belloli defeated Marice Herbelin, 6-0; Chad Lorenzana, 6-0, and Rob Uyesato, 6-2. Servite is 6-1 overall and 4-0 in league play.
In the Sea View League:
Corona del Mar 11, University 9--The Sea Kings’ No. 1 doubles team, Scott Atkin and Richard Han, improved their league record to 5-1, winning, 6-2, 7-5, 4-6. Corona del Mar is 6-3 overall and 2-0 in league play. University, the defending Southern Section Division 5-A champion, is 1-1 in league play.
In the Sunset League:
Fountain Valley 11, Huntington Beach 7--Tom Phan and Brian Winterstein swept their doubles matches, 6-3, 6-2, 6-1, for Fountain Valley (1-0, 6-1) at Huntington Beach.
In nonleague boy’s tennis:
Irvine 13, Laguna Hills 5--Mike Chang swept his three matches to lead Irvine (4-4) at Irvine.
In Angelus League golf:
Servite 200, Bishop Amat 239, Pius X 260--Servite freshman Albert Oh shot a 1-over 36 at the Rio Hondo Golf Course.
In Orange League golf:
Brea-Olinda 217, Magnolia 272--Junior Jeff Banks shot a 2-over 39 to lead Brea-Olinda at the Imperial Golf Course.
In nonleague golf:
Valencia 445, Trabuco Hills 500--Sophomore Kengo Kahashi of Valencia shot a 14-over 86 but it was the low round for 18 holes at Coto de Caza Country Club. Valencia is 7-0.
Corona del Mar 189, Edison 202--Frank Pantoja of Edison had the low nine-hole total of 35.
In boys’ volleyball:
Edison 3, Irvine 1--Mark Presho had 21 kills to lead Edison to a 15-11, 15-13, 7-15, 15-6 victory at Irvine. Edison is 5-0
