Covina : Home Businesses Curbed

A law limiting in-home business activities will go into effect April 6. The ordinance forbids vehicle repair, the sale of firearms and most manufacturing at residences. Other restrictions limit storage and deliveries to homes and the number of customers picking up products from individual homes.
The measure, approved at last week’s City Council meeting, is designed to prevent traffic, noise and parking problems in residential areas, said City Clerk Chris Richardson.
