A little-known, 33-year-old GOP leader will run against Massachusetts Sen. Edward M. Kennedy in the fall for the Senate seat Kennedy has held without serious challenge since 1962, the Republican state chairman said Wednesday.
Joseph Malone of Waltham, executive director of the Massachusetts GOP, will challenge Kennedy, said party Chairman Ray Shamie.
