The Aloha Bowl again will be played on Christmas Day this year, officials announced in Honolulu.
Also, Marcia Cherner was named the bowl’s general manager, replacing Dick Fishback, who was dismissed last week.
Last year’s Aloha Bowl, matching UCLA and Florida, drew 24,829 fans, the second-worst attendance figure in the bowl’s seven-year history.
