Reds, Red Sox to Play in Jimmy Fund Game

PLANT CITY, Fla. — The Cincinnati Reds will play the Boston Red Sox in Boston’s Fenway Park on the night of May 19 in the annual Jimmy Fund charity exhibition game.
The game occurs in the middle of a six-game Cincinnati home stand, sandwiched between three games with Atlanta and three with Chicago.
The Jimmy Fund, the beneficiary of the game, raises money for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
In return, the Red Sox will play an exhibition game in Cincinnati during a future season, Reds officials said.
