Japan Firm Develops Bad-Breath Detector

TOKYO — The Japanese have developed a machine that detects Bad Breath.
The Iki-Iki Sensor, developed by Grelan Pharmaceutical Co., measures mouth gas to determine whether a person’s breath smells “good, fair, poor or bad.”
“If the sensor says your breath is poor, you’d better clean your teeth or wash your mouth with oral deodorant. If it says bad, you’d better see your dentist,” a company official said.
The machine will retail for $130.
