City Section Volleyball Playoffs

Granada Hills d. Roosevelt, 15-10, 15-11, 15-11--Outside hitter Ben Itken, who had missed three of the Highlanders’ last four matches with a strained back muscle, had a team-high 17 kills to lead Granada Hills to a 4-A victory at Roosevelt.

Highlander middle blocker Andy Farrow had 16 kills and setter Giddeon Lee had 61 assists for Granada Hills (12-4), which will face the Palisades-Carson winner in Tuesday’s semifinals.

Reseda d. Hollywood, 15-0, 15-3, 15-6--Coley Kyman had 10 kills and Karl Cleveland added nine as the Regents won a first-round, 3-A match at Reseda. The Regents play the winner of the Los Angeles-Franklin match in the semifinals Tuesday.

Canoga Park d. Lincoln, 14-16, 15-6, 15-2, 15-8--Jeremy Mears had 23 kills and Shawn Addison and Sean Reyes added 13 kills each to lead the Hunters to a 3-A quarterfinal win at Canoga Park.
