The Tempest Over Shakespeare Festival

I was amazed to read that Garden Grove Councilman Littrell thinks the Grove Theatre productions should serve only the citizens of Garden Grove. My experience has been that city councils and local business groups bend over backward to attract people (and their money) from other communities.

We have been attending Grove Theatre productions for four or five years. Since we come from out of town, we always eat in Garden Grove restaurants before attending the theater.

Perhaps Councilman Littrell thinks Garden Grove restaurants should only serve food he likes to eat and that those of us who like quality food as well as quality theater should go someplace else.
