Two Alabama teens who claimed they were injured by a special effects explosion during a Motley Crue concert in Huntsville have accepted at least $175,000 to settle their suit against the band, said Jim Corder, a lawyer for one of the teen-agers. Corder said the band’s insurer, Fireman’s Fund, reached the settlement with Robbie Miller, 17, of Athens, who lost an eye, and David Wright, 19, of Grant, who said they were injured by dry ice or other debris that flew from the stage during the band’s 1986 “Theater of Pain” concert in Huntsville. The agreement stipulated that the amount not be made public, Corder said. The case went to trial earlier this year but ended in a mistrial with a deadlocked jury.
