Local News in Brief : Arleta Woman’s Death Under Investigation

Police continued an investigation Sunday into the death of a 75-year-old Arleta woman who suffocated in her home.
Ellen Press’ body was discovered in her Sunburst Street home Saturday morning by a relative. Neighbors reported last seeing her alive Friday evening.
Police and the county coroner were trying to determine whether the woman was murdered or committed suicide, or whether the death was an accident.
