Local News in Brief : South County : Coordinator Named for Schools Media Center

Ronald D. Dempsey, who has served with the Capistrano Unified School District since 1973, has been named coordinator of the district’s Instructional Media Center, effective Monday.
District spokeswoman Jacqueline Cerra said some of his responsibilities will include directing and developing school library media centers and heading the textbook review selection process.
Most recently, Dempsey was vice principal of Marco Forster Junior High School in San Juan Capistrano.
