‘Mad Dog’ Ex-Mayor Released From Prison

PETERSBURG, Va. — Former Mayor Mike Roark of Charleston, W.Va., walked out of federal prison today after serving five months for cocaine possession.
The 42-year-old former prosecutor nicknamed “Mad Dog” for his flamboyant ways, which included wearing a camouflage jacket and a side arm on drug raids, was whisked past news cameras at the Federal Correctional Institution shortly before 8 a.m.
