Elton John will be at the Hollywood Bowl on Sept. 23 and the Pacific Amphitheatre on Sept. 27 as part of his first U.S. tour in two years, and his first tour of any kind since his throat surgery in 1986. Tickets for the Bowl date will be on sale Aug 13. Details of sales for the Pacific show have not been announced. The 15-city road trip to promote John’s new “Reg Strikes Back” album is set to kick off Sept. 9 in Miami.
