Contra Costa County supervisors have approved a 117-acre, $652-million redevelopment project around the Bay Area Rapid Transit station in Pleasant Hill. They also gave a go-ahead to the project’s 12.3-acre, 892-unit residential development, which includes 134 low-income residences. Ultimately, the project will consist of three hotels, commercial space, offices and a child care center.
