Local News in Brief : 2 Judges Appointed

Gov. George Deukmejian has appointed two judges to the Municipal Court in Los Angeles County.
Jack P. Hunt of San Dimas, a commissioner for the Los Angeles County Municipal Court, was appointed to the Municipal Court for the Pomona Judicial District. He replaces Judge Robert Gustaveson, who was promoted to the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
The governor also appointed Michael M. Duggan of Alhambra to the Municipal Court for the Citrus Judicial District in Los Angeles County. Duggan, 41, is a Los Angeles County deputy district attorney. He was a public defender from 1981 to 1986. He fills a newly created position.
The salary for Municipal Court judges is $77,409.
